There are great differences in construction methods between the anti-corrosion and thermal insulation of FRP storage tanks and the traditional anti-corrosion and thermal insulation of metal tanks. The construction is convenient, the work efficiency is improved, the cost is saved, and it is easy to master. Compared with the traditional construction methods, the application has great advantages. Anti corrosion construction process and material organization of FRP storage tank → pressure test and leakage test of storage tank → site investigation → scaffold erection → insulation layer construction → protective layer construction → scaffold removal.
1. Pressure test and leakage test of storage tank
Before the anti-corrosion and thermal insulation of FRP storage tank, organize personnel to conduct preliminary appearance acceptance of the storage tank, and conduct the strength and tightness test of the storage tank after checking that the appearance of the equipment is free of dead corner and leakage.
2. Material organization
Organize materials to arrive at the site according to the drawing requirements. All anti-corrosion and thermal insulation materials shall be provided with product certificate, indicating the production date and effective date, product quality inspection report, product standard, operation manual and product inspection report of this batch issued by the State Administration of quality supervision.
3. Site investigation
Be familiar with the construction site, select the material access road, stack the materials uniformly, and pay attention to rainproof and moisture-proof. The thermal insulation materials and galvanized iron sheet can be placed in the tank valve room under the FRP storage tank. Temporary electricity and water shall be taken nearby in the station.
4. Scaffolding
Scaffolds are built around FRP storage tanks. Since most storage tanks are located on the platform and the space is relatively narrow, the scaffold can be tied and fixed by making full use of platform guardrails, escalators and maintenance platforms. Since the tank maintenance platform has been constructed, the top of the scaffold pole does not need to be higher than the platform, and the first platform is about 1.5m away from the tank top.
5. Winding electric tropics
Due to the inevitable collision during the transportation and installation of FRP storage tanks, the manufacturer is required to repair the external wall of the storage tank locally before winding the electric belt. The electric heating belt on the tank wall is laid by winding from bottom to top, with a spacing of about 5cm. The tank top is laid radially. Each storage tank needs about 1800m electric heating belt. The laying of electric heating belt shall be carried out under the guidance of the manufacturer. After the construction of electric heating is completed, the remote meter shall be used to check whether it is a channel. The next procedure can be carried out only after the electric heating belt passes the heat test.
